ROOM 01 — works on paper
The Drawing
Room.
A pile of drawings made quickly and felt slowly — open it.
ROOM 02 — mixed media
The Dark
Room.
Collage, lipstick, magazine scraps — drawing that refuses to stay flat.
ROOM 03 — spatial work
The
Interior.
Where the drawing becomes a room.
ROOM 04 — at scale
The Blueprint
Room.
Structure, light, and the shape of where a body wants to rest.
ROOM 05 — the hand behind it
A Letter.
I draw to find out what I'm feeling. The line goes down before the words do — it's faster, more honest, and it doesn't let me lie. Faces come out crooked, eyes too big, mouths that can't quite say it. That's the point. The mess is the meaning.
Ink, oil pastel, graphite, whatever's in reach — pressed hard enough to bruise the paper. Then I take that same feeling and move it into space: rooms, surfaces, the way light falls and where a body wants to rest. The drawing and the room are the same impulse, just at different scales.
None of it is precious. It's made by hand, in real time, and you can see where the hand shook.
